What is a Gua Sha?

How often should I use my Gua Sha?

We believe that you should aim for 2 to 3 times per week until you feel comfortable with the ritual, after which time you will achieve the best results if used daily.

Which is better,  Jade or Rose Quartz Gua Sha?

The most common stones for Gua Sha is both Jade and Rose Quartz. Typically Rose Quartz is a little more expensive than Jade as it is a harder stone and the craftsmanship that goes into making the Gua Sha requires a little more skill. It is also good to note that Rose Quartz will maintain its temperature for longer periods of time, ensuring that you receive the beneficial qualities of the cool stone.

1. Prepare your skin with Stephanies® Hydrating Pre Cleansing Oil and Lactic Cleanser.
2. Apply a small amount of Stephanies® Hyaluronic Rose Concentrate to the face and neck.
3. Sweep up the neck on both sides, before sweeping under the chin.
4. Sweep from the middle of your chin over the jawline toward your earlobe.
5. Sweep underneath the cheekbone to the hairline, followed by sweeps over the cheekbone.
6. Gently sweep under the eye, from the inner corner to the outer corner and finishing at the hairline.
7. Sweep over the eyebrow from the centre toward the hairline.
8. Sweep from between the eyebrows over the third eye and up to the hairline.
9. Sweep from the middle of the forehead out to the hairline.
10. Continue ritual by starting again on the neck and working through the steps.
11. Conclude your ritual with your favourite Stephanies® treatment cream, concentrate or serum.
12. Rinse your Gua Sha with warm soapy water, dry, and store.
