In 1985, I began what would become a lifelong journey dedicated to beauty, wellness and the art of caring for others.
After years of learning, refining my craft and understanding what truly makes people feel their best, I founded Stephanies® in 1994 with a simple vision - to create more than a traditional day spa. I wanted to create places where exceptional treatments, genuine care and meaningful moments of wellbeing come together, allowing every guest to pause, reconnect and leave feeling renewed.
More than 32 years later, that vision continues to guide everything we do.
Today, Stephanies® has grown into one of Queensland’s most recognised luxury spa collections. Alongside our destination spas, our journey has expanded into professional skincare through Skin Editions® by Stephanies®, wellness collections, education and innovation through Stephanies® Collective - all united by a shared commitment to elevating the guest experience and supporting the future of our industry.
While our business has evolved, our philosophy has remained beautifully simple: luxury is never just about beautiful surroundings. It is about how we make people feel.
Throughout my career, I have been privileged to witness our industry evolve in remarkable ways, but I have never lost my appreciation for the healing power of human touch, thoughtful consultation and authentic connection. These moments continue to inspire me every day.
Life has also reminded me that wellness is deeply personal. Through both joyful milestones and unexpected challenges, my belief has only strengthened that taking time to care for ourselves is not an indulgence—it is an essential part of living well.
