Stephanies® Signature Ladies of Leisure Experience

Stephanies® Signature Ladies of Leisure Experience

Brides

Stephanies® beauty therapist checks in on a hen’s weekend at the Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge Vineyard and Dayspa, here’s what she had to say:

Celebrating a decadent hen’s weekend in style and grace, four lovely ‘Ladies of Leisure’ embarked on a journey that surely left an ever lasting memory.

Greeted by smiling staff at the stunning Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge Spa and Vineyard, Wendy, Andrea, Katey and the beautiful bride-to-be Hayley enjoyed a welcome glass of bubbles on the scenic deck, whilst delighting in breathtaking 180 degree views of Mount Glorious and the shimmering Samsonvale Lake.

After settling into their hotel suite the ladies made their way through to our luxurious mountain spa which boasts jaw-dropping mountain views from almost every room.

Warmly welcomed by our talented therapists, the girls were made to feel right at home in the gorgeous tranquility lounge where they sipped on delicious herbal teas in the comfort of their cosy Stephanies® robes. From here, they each enjoyed a revitalising steam therapy treatment in our sparkling, architecturally designed steam therapy lounge.

Led through by their therapists, they were guided up a grand, candlelit stairway to the decadent spa treatment rooms where they were to completely drift away into total serenity and bliss with two hours of first class treatments, including an essential 60 minute massage using beautiful Swedish techniques to induce the bodies into absolute relaxation. This was followed by a soothing and hydrating classic facial to leave them feeling fresh faced and beautiful.

Retreating back to the tranquility lounge, a high tea crafted by the lodges head chef awaited the ladies after their treatments. Here they sipped on bubbly champagne and indulged in sweet treats and petite gourmet sandwiches.

Our ladies of leisure were then delighted by a makeup tutorial and makeover, where our therapists provided a complete transformation using Jane Iredales fabulous collection of mineral makeups.

Blown away by a day of utter luxury and pampering, our ladies of leisure left our Stephanies® Mountain Spa to reside back to their superior rooms of the lodge. But not without their Stephanies® goodie bags in hand of course!

A truly unique experience, that is absolutely second to none, the ladies had nothing but compliments and thanks for their day of leisure.

To top it all off a delicious dining experience was enjoyed that evening, as well as a beautiful buffet breakfast and lazy late checkout the next day.

If you and your ladies have a special occasion to celebrate, or simply need a weekend to melt away in ultimate luxury and pampering, there is no better experience than the ‘Ladies of Leisure’ package.

Treetop massages – Stephanies® Mountain Spa

Chapter 5. Stephanie saddles up and heads for the hills.

mountain spa

In June 2011 Stephanie Shepherd unveiled her Mountain Spa, a destination retreat located at Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge, Spa and Vineyard – a scenic 35 minute journey from Brisbane CBD.

“Clear Mountain instantly transports you to a different state of mind. The views are sensational and draw your attention from all angles,” says Stephanie Shepherd.

“I was instantly drawn to the location and feel it offers clients a wonderful alternative to our current spa offerings. The treatments have a distinct natural earthy appeal. We have a strong focus on our Vino Therapies and Organic treatments, as it’s a perfect marriage with our natural mountain spa environment.” adds Shepherd.

The hinterland spa retreat spans approximately 180 square metres over six magnificent treatment suites; including a hydro couples suite, a grand Boudreaux VIP lounge and bath suite, a triple treatment room, a steam therapy cave, unique hydro swiss shower room and a sole therapy and manicure lounge; which can accommodate up to 7 people at one time.

Stephanie’s signature Tranquility Lounge overlooks the resorts manicured gardens and lush treetops of the mountain below; the perfect setting to rebalance and relax with herbal tea and seasonal fruit sorbet.

The VIP Boudreaux lounge and bath suite showcase the picture postcard views of the rolling landscape and is the ultimate retreat for couples seeking privacy in their own treatment and lounge domain. Equipped with massage beds and a magnificent bespoke stone bath, the Boudreaux suite has been created to offer the feeling of a private couples spa, within a spa. The minute you enter the room the $10,ooo palazzo stone bath and the panoramic mountain views command your attention….until the Ghareni massage beds beckon.

The state of the art European designed wellness beds are used throughout the spa and boast a cloud-like padding, with pre-programmed memory to position clients in ultimate comfort. The smart thermo heating ensures body temperature is perfectly balanced to match the therapy experience; whilst the relaxing vibro technology provides an all over meditative state when enjoying a body wrap or facial.

Specialising in couples and group treatments, the spa offers a well-rounded and unique menu of therapies. The spa layout is well suited to group bookings and ticks all the right boxes for special occasion, hens parties, bucks events – a more relaxing take on a gents escape.
