Spa Celebrations as Stephanies turns 28 years old!

Just think 28 years ago, on Clara street at Camp Hill, a young Stephanie was setting up her first two room beauty salon with her mother and father. Her mother Joyce was busy sewing curtains and father Len building the walls.

Beauty had been a lifelong passion from the time Stephanie was growing up in Broken Hill. One of Joyce’s favourite memories of Stephanie when she was very young was stealing her lipstick and telling friends and family that one day she was going to be a “Beauty Lady” when she grows up.

After expanding her business and bringing on another 2 employees, Stephanie's Natural Beauty became the spot for the locals to have their pampering and essential beauty attended to. It took just 3 years until Stephanie realised that she required a larger space to accommodate the demand.

Searching around the suburbs of Hawthorne, Morningside and Balmoral, Stephanie found a location in Oxford Street, Bulimba. This purpose built beauty salon had 5 treatment rooms,  and as you can guess, more treatment rooms required more team members. After a comprehensive talent search, Stephanie had a team of 5 beauty therapists working alongside her at the time providing the community with the highest standard of beauty treatments.

Another five years went past, and again with the support of the Bulimba locals Stephanie's Natural Beauty was again running out of space. 

A new development was being built further down Oxford Street, however the space was huge, growing from 60m2 to 210m2 was a big risk that Stephanie decided to take. Needless to say the first Bulimba day spa was created; Stephanie’s Natural Beauty and Day Spa opened its doors in 2002. 

As the years passed, more and more team members joined Stephanie's and although the name changed again in 2007 to be known as  Stephanies Urban Spa; the business philosophy did not change and remains the same.

From the two treatment rooms in Camp Hill, Stephanies now has an outstanding team of 80 staff, 6 exquisite day spa locations, as well as an amazing head office building. The head office contains training facilities, conference room facilities and a commercial spa laundry.

From Noosa in the north, with the beautiful Stephanies Ocean Spa that has views of the Noosa Biosphere and a 6 person float room, designed for you to just lay back and take in nature. 

To the latest spa addition, a Gold Coast Day Spa, Stephanies Wellness Spa located within the Q1 Resort & Spa at Surfers Paradise. This location is an escape from the hustle of the busy shopping precinct and allows you to wind down and relax either by yourself or with friends. Enjoy the resort's pools or have a couples treatment with the specialised vichy room.

•   Stephanies Mountain Spa, located at on top of Clear Mountain with the beautiful steam room and views of the Glass House Mountains. 
•   Stephanies Vintage Spa, located in Cleveland within the old heritage listed doctor building.

So far this year Stephanies has unwrapped the exquisite Stephanies Skincare & Body Range and  their very own Mindful Spa Essential Oil Collection.

Stephanies have launched a beautiful new website and a soul stirring spa menu with lots of exciting new spa experiences, curated to fortify emotional wellbeing and enrich the skin. And if you look closer you will also find a kids spa menu under Family Friendly Treatments.

As a part of the spa party Stephanies spa celebrations, there is a Classical Facial Birthday Offer designed to instantly brighten and nourish the complexion, providing protection from environmental damage and the visible signs of ageing.
