Makeup Special – Belle of the Ball!

ball makeupOne of our lovely Cleveland clients, Miss Mikaela, recently attended her School Formal with makeup by our Vintage Spa Makeup Queen Stacey.

To re-create this look pop into our Vintage Spa and pick yourself up the ‘must have’ essentials. Better still – book a one-on-one class with Stacey, who’ll teach you how to make the most out of your products.

Jane Iredale products used for Mikaela; Pommist Hydration Spray to hydrate skin, and Smooth Affair Primer and Brightener to prime skin before her foundation base.  Glowtime Full Coverage BB5 using Flocked Sponge and Pure Pressed Base Powder – Golden Glow and Latte.

Mikaela’s AMAZING eye look was achieved with a clever combination of the following goodies! Active Light Under Eye Concealer for coverage underneath eyes followed by Golden Glow powder to press in over the top of concealer to blend.  24 Karat Silver Dust underneath eyebrow using Small Fluff brush, plus 24 Karat Silver mixed with EyeGloss – Champagne Silk for eyelids and inner corners of eyes. Pure Pressed Eyeshadow Allure for end of eyelids to blend and Pure Pressed Eyeshadow Dawn for crease of eyelids.

Double Espresso was used for end of eyelids to contour, with Stacey blending towards middle and upwards using an Eye Contour brush.  A Cream to Powder Eyeliner – Black/Brown Plus was used for the top of eyeline using an Angle Brow brush and a Pencil Crayon in Black/Brown for bottom eyeline. Longest Lash Thickening and Lengthening Mascara Black Ice was than applied to the bottom lashes and inner corners of upper lashes.

For a finishing touch Stacey used So-Bronze  to contour cheekbones,  24 Karat Gold to highlight upper cheekbones and Sunbeam blusher. And last, but certainly not least a touch of Pure Gloss Apricot fizz lipgloss.

Now, we can’t guarantee you’ll look as stunning as our gorgeous client Mikaela, but having the right products , and knowing how to use them is the best way to start.
