NOOSA’S newest spa owner Stephanie Shepherd has gone from strength to strength since she started her career 25 years ago as a 17-year-old. It took the entrepreneur less than 10 years before she opened her first salon, Stephanie’s Natural Beauty, at Camp Hill in 1994.

Today Stephanie owns three luxurious spas, including the new Stephanie’s Ocean Spa at Outrigger Little Hastings Street Resort and Spa, and will open a fourth at Clear Mountain on August 16. Stephanie said the driving force behind her success was her true passion and genuine commitment to the beauty and spa industry.

‘‘I want all Stephanie’s guests to experience memorable spa moments,’’ she said. ‘‘My main driving force for our company has been concentrating and focusing on our spa philosophies, by embracing new technologies, respecting ancient spa rituals and stepping away from the ordinary and allowing guests to indulge in breathtaking treatments.’’
The weekend the resort opened,

Stephanie’s first client wrote in their guestbook: ‘‘Thank you so much for this truly amazing experience, this treatment is something I have always wanted to experience and you have provided this in beautiful, tranquil surroundings with truly amazing and lovely staff. I will not forget this experience and I hope to return to Stephanie’s very soon.’’

Stephanie’s Ocean Spa also offers Sunshine Coast residents a discounted annual membership for $249.

‘‘The Stephanie’s Spa Club provides guests with a year’s worth of exclusive spa offers, genuine savings and a free monthly treatment,’’ Stephanie said.

‘‘We welcome all Sunshine Coast residents to experience a personal spa tour and learn about this wonderful yearly club offer.’’
